Empowerment of any individual, family and whole community members matters a lot while implementing any projects and economic empowerment plays vital role for the sustainability of any implemented projects.  There is saying "Give a man a fish you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." Considering such ideas in mind, NDS started the income generating projects including different support programs under this project since the organization came in action to improve the living standard of community people.

The objective of the Income Generating Project initiated by the Nepal Development Society (NDS) is to foster economic empowerment and improve the living standards of community members. By focusing on sustainable income generation, the project aims to:

1. Enhance Economic Self-Sufficiency: Equip individuals and families with the skills and resources needed to generate their own income, promoting long-term financial independence.

2. Sustain Community Development: Ensure that economic empowerment contributes to the sustainability of other implemented projects by providing a stable economic foundation for the community.
